When you work in a nocturnal-ish industry that keeps you up past most people’s bedtime, it’s important to find healthy ways to get the right amount of sleep you need to function.
For some, that means installing a set of black-out curtains in the bedroom to keep the sun from disturbing their rest. For others, it might mean setting a temperature, blocking noise, or preparing the ideal evening snack. For me, it means playing a selection of calming music that prepares me to get the rest I need, no matter where I am or what time it is.
